WEEK 11 I am not going to lie; it is very crazy to think that I have been writing about parenting for the last eleven weeks. Before, I used to hate writing. English is not my first language, so writing is even harder because of grammar and things like that. But since I have felt that I belong to something, writing has become a funny thing to do. I wait impatiently every Thursday to know what my choices to write are, and then I start writing. Well, I will not be bothering you guys more about the way I feel. Week 10 We have talked about so many things in these last 9 weeks. Since being in a relationship, to marrying. But we have not really talked about finances in marriage. Why is this so important? Well, sadly as I said last week, money is a big cause of divorce. But before talking about it, I want to talk a little bit about communication. If you guys remember my story from last week about this marriage where the husband did not wake up her wife to say bye, they talked afterward to make things up. This is a really important thing in the relationship because if they would not talk about it, the problem will continue until one of them say something. Week 09 Is not it weird? I have been writing a blog every single week for nine weeks, but it does not feel like that long. Family relations is a very interesting class that I decided to take because I thought it might be fun. When I see behind, when I was choosing this class, I see a guy with hardly any idea of relationships. Even though I had a bad experience with relations, I had something present and it was that relationships need communication. This is fascinating because we talked about it in this week’s class. Week 08 Why is money so important and why it usually gets in the middle of a marriage? Back in the days of Moses, he went to the pray to the mountain. When he was there, all his people started to build a golden calf to adore. These types of things are called pagan gods. My mom used to say that now on days we might not have any pagan god, but what we do have is money. Week 07 Another week, another dollar, or another grade? This week has been crazy because of all the topics that we went through. We were basically talking about marriage and sex. You will see that it is an interesting topic to talk about in a religious school because it has become a taboo. And there are other things that sadly became a taboo too because people do not feel comfortable talking about. Week 06 Isn’t it weird that we are already halfway through this journey?   Brother Williams has been a good person that has led not only me, but the whole class into this knowledge and has begun preparing us for dating, marriage, and everything relating to it. Last week, we learned about dating and how to have a healthy serious relationship. This week, we learned about marriage and all the "tricks" for having a good marriage.
